It is unlikely that all of your camping adventures with find you asleep before dark and not needing to get up during the night. So you will need to bring your light with you in the form of flashlights and lanterns. Don't make the mistake of thinking that flashlights will be enough; area lighting via lanterns is necessary. You can find lanterns powered by batteries or a variety of fuels, including propane and liquids. Having at least one battery powered lantern, like the Coleman 4D Classic U-Tube Lantern, is handy when you need quick light, and having your fuel powered lantern(s) use the same fuel as your camp stove is a wise choice. When planning your camping trip it is best if each person has their own flashlight, with no fewer than one flashlight for every two people in your group. If you have children, there are a variety of battery powered camping lanterns and flashlights specially made for them. Also make sure that each battery powered lantern and each flashlight has fresh batteries and that you have spare batteries of each size needed. Click on the underlined name above to see more details of it or click HERE to see a selection of lanterns and flashlights. Besides the normal assortment of bandages, gauze pads and tape your camping first aid kit should contain the following:
If you or any of your family have a medical problem such as asthma, diabetes or allergies, your camping first aid kit should also contain the appropriate emergency medications needed for the condition.
